QUIZ RECAP

The folks at Kilarney's braved the rain and came out to play anyway. That's loyalty for
you! Wassata-U conquered all with three perfect scores and two Double-or-Nothing's in
the final three rounds. That says something for academia. Tequila Mockingbird took
second place and the Poonswagglers got third.

An excellent quiz from our quiz writers! Round Six was especially interesting. Match
the event to the city where it happened. Equal parts anecdotal and historical study.
Some people were old enough to remember where they were during the JFK assassination,
but not old enough to be around when Jesus was born. (At least, that we know of!) Of
course, being in the DFW area as we are, the JFK event has a particular resonance.

I would just like to say that the new quiz books that were printed without a Round Six
page was not a mistake. (Right?) We just use our Round Six handouts for the ballot
page instead. (Right?) So, when Quiz Master Lou was about to butcher a bunch of Quiz
booklets to compensate for the R6 missing page, it was just a jest! (Riiiiiiiiiight...)
