QUIZ RECAP

A most interesting pub quiz last night as ten seasoned teams and one newbie
clashed for cash (sort of) and clamored for credit at Killarney's! The Double-
or-Nothing's were kept at bay (mostly) by a few, singular killer questions...

In Round One, Newton's SI unit was not a Force multiplier while St. Trinian's
kept the odds unholy in Round Two. Round Three got the most successful DoN's
surprisingly, as more people knew what a vuvuzela was than imagined. The six
point clue in Guess Who nailed Mr. Butler for most folks while the majority
went with James Paxton instead of Felix Hernandez in the Find-the-Connection
Round! The baseball statisticians used the Hand-Out Round to give themselves
a hand up but Round Seven's complexity served a Waterloo to quash just about
everybody's dream of going to Disneyland.

One final observation. Quiz Master Lou's joke answer of Dealy Plaza to the
Bay of Pigs question in the General Knowledge Round went largely unnoticed...
