QUIZ RECAP

Killarney's climbed new heights last night as eight teams collided to create
collective quiz bane! Newbies Boost registered themselves and earned that
extra two point bonus while Running Late is my Cardio missed round one entirely
but managed a fifth place position anyway. (Go figure.)

Home team Barflies fell apart early but kept their toe in the water to at least
break into double digits in the final rounds. The Dallas Boolers Club, who won
an astounding victory last week with a Double-or-Nothing demonstrated that
lightning doesn't strike twice with the same ploy. One of their wags was heard
to comment that the questions were biased towards "old people", to which Quiz
Master Lou reprimanded that oft times, questions were biased towards millennials!

Speaking of which, One Left in the Chamber's two millennial daughters cut out of
the pub just before the Chance The Rapper question came up. Kind of like dropping
that Ace up your sleeve on the floor during the call. Oops...

Tequila Mockingbird flew in for a third place win while IFFY! fluctuated into
second. Pickles on a Plate brought home the bacon by commanding the high score
from start to finish, a rare but cool occurrence for them. The evening was in
their wheelhouse so to speak.
