QUIZ RECAP

Dateline: September 17th, 2019. Killarney's Live in Fairview, TX!

A fun time was had by all with a fun set of questions served with an extra side
of fun sauce! Rounds one and two seemed to have the most fun as most of the teams
Doubled-or-Nothing'd. Pickles on a Plate doubled twice in a row successfully in
that time, established the lead and held onto it until the very end making them
the winners! Fun stuff!

Round Three's "Pet" theme threw a few for a loop and allowed Quiz Master Lou to
warble a couple of lines of the Beach Boys' Wouldn't It Be Nice at answer time
and that was fun. Round Four's Guess Where did its usual deception cluing and
lured a couple of teams into the "Hold my beer!" trap, but a few correctly got
it and changed the ranking a bit. Find-the-Connection's most fun moment occurred
when one team earned some style points by incorrectly identifying Get Shorty as
Kill Smootchie. That put the fun in funny.

QM Lou had a bit of fun channeling Richard Dawson as we embarked on play testing
the Survey Slam. Our survey says you have to have drinks for a drinking round...
Irish Whiskey-pedia somehow knew the answer to question six on that one and won.
They also wound up in third place at the end of the night. Funny Money (see how
I worked the fun into that?) and top music tours rounded off the fun night.

One Left in the Chamber took home second place honors while the return of team
I P**ped my Pants afforded Quiz Master Lou even more fun coming up with alternate
names for his conceptually obscene moniker. Ahhh... I had so much fun I'm all
funned out. I'm now going home to listen to Beethoven's 7th Symphony - Second
movement to equalize my psyche. Whew!
