QUIZ RECAP

Hello. Quiz Master Lou here, bringing you the latest King Trivia Pub Quiz news
that fits the scene. Despite a massive traffic jam on US 75 and late arrivals,
we carried off our usual Tuesday night revels with aplomb and even a birthday!
Happy 82nd to Wossa Matta-U team alumni Tom Thurmond, whose thoughtful son
provided enough cupcakes for the entire pub! Killarney's never had it so good!

Our Round Two Picture round consisting of identifying natural wonders from
around the world yielded fairly mixed results and some good fails. It must've
been a special brain itch for the team that couldn't remember Kilimanjaro's
name and just put down Mount Africa!

An English teacher pointed out that the "Y" in Fluffy counts as a vowel, but
went ahead and conceded to the Theme Round's I know "U" anyway without filing
a complaint with the A.G.'s office. We got some great folks down here in Texas!

QM Lou managed to pin Audrey Hepburn on the 8 point clue of the Guess Who Round
(when he did his test run) and so did One Left in the Chamber and Pickles on a
Plate. All other teams got it on subsequent clues, except for Binge Thinking,
who blew it on the Ten pointer by impulsively going with Julie Andrews. (By the
way, QM Lou's fave A.H. movie is Charade!)

All in all, another great question set! Blood, Bath & Beyond captured the gold
while Pickles snagged second and Binge got third. That's all the news that fits!
