QUIZ RECAP

Tuesday's at Oddwood Brewing are showcasing battles between elite intellectuals new and old. The past two weeks have had a strong champion, "And the Winner is..." and during their reign it's been a new team joining the competition shooting for a chance to dethrone the champs nestled in like cozy kittens. This week's new team, "The Johnson Administration," gathered their history buff braintrust, and for the first few rounds they were so far behind they couldn't even hear the reigning champs hiss back at them, but a double or nothing round 5 put them in second place with two rounds to go, however "And the Winner is..." continued to pad their lead and left the rest of the competition campaigning for silver.

While the Johnson Administration dropped a round 5 bomb to take over second place, "Tasteful Noodles" added a little extra gravy to takeover 2nd place after round 6, and added a meatball just spicy enough to place 2nd, and devour those noods on a silver platter (after weeks of slipping out of the top 3 places, it was a relief for "Tasteful Noodles" to stand on the podium). 

Weekly regulars "Cave of Wonders," "Quizzie McGuire" "Team Juan" and "Odd Wood was my nickname in High School" showed out, but had some missed double or nothing attempts kick them out of contention. 

"And the Winner is..." is holding strong onto the crown, but we'll see if next week any of the new teams, or flavorful regulars can reduce the juice of the repeat champs's high-octane brain power.
