QUIZ RECAP

Well well well...it's Wednesday again. That means three teams went home with cash and the rest of you cried yourselves to sleep.

Round one showed just how much confidence There's No Crying In Trivia doesn't have in themselves. They were the only team to get all six questions correct but not check the Double or Nothing box. No worries though because they still held on to first place for the next two rounds.

In round four, we had an over confident Let's Get Quizzical turn in an incorrect guess and Too Much Sauce grab eight points with a correct guess. This really mixed things up - Too Much Sauce not only broke the their three round tie with Let's Get Quizzical, but they knocked There's No Crying in Trivia to second place!

Our beer round was a tough one this week. This time, I offered extra credit for any team that could guess the theme of the round in addition to all the songs and artists. Not one team got all songs, artists, AND the theme correct. While There's No Crying in Trivia guessed the correct theme (songs that are also TV show names), they didn't get quite enough artists and songs...leaving room for Too Much Sauce to snag the free pitcher of beer.

Round six proved Too Much Sauce and Let's Get Quizzical both know WAY too much about Olympic sports - they both turned in successful Double or Nothings, putting them in first and second place (respectively). However, as we all know...there can only be one trivia highlander. And tonight it was TOO MUCH SAUCE!
