There is a fully functional smoker grandfathered into the property, rumored to have been built by the same folks who built Everett & Jones’ smokers back in the day! What up playas! This was the inaugural night of King Trivia at Stay Gold Deli, and a good time was had by all. We had four teams going at it, but sadly Killer Clowns bailed early, and Reno Rhinoplasties joined in late(but are looking forward to returning to play a full game!)

So it came down to a shootout between Los Venezuelan Jennings and Steam Team. It was pretty close between the two teams early on, with LVJ always keeping a bit of a lead but Steam Team close in pursuit.

Unfortunately for Steam Team, Los Venezuelan Jennings tore out ahead during the Find The Connection round, and Steam Team was never able to overcome the point difference.

However, Steam Team was able to find some solace during the bonus drinking round after round 5. In honor of the late, great Stan Lee, everyone was asked to draw their best Spider-Man on a bar coaster, with the winner getting a round of whatever they were drinking for their table. Steam Team won the quizmaster's heart with one of their coaster masterpieces, and received a nice frothy pitcher of beer for their table.
