Despite the torrential rain we'd been having all day, there was a good turnout at Stay Gold for the first night of league play. The game was very tight in the first few rounds, with Know Nose taking a decent lead in the 4th. But things really heated up in round 5, when The Toasted Buns went double or nothing successfully. They sprang into a commanding lead, and cemented it for the night with another double or nothing in round 6.

They weren't the only success story of the night though. My Other Car Is A Trivia Team struggled initially, even taking a negative point in the "Guess Who" round. But a daring double or nothing in Round 6 as well as a strong showing in the final round catapulted them into 2nd place for the night.

Finally, we celebrated the Lunar New Year in the drinking round by having players submit their best pig drawings. Bartender Ben judged them, and Witches of Eastwick won the round, though they graciously donated their pitcher to another team as Witches was led by one of the managers of the Stay Gold.
