We offer a variety of specialty items, ranging from smoked meats to house-made pickles to vegan items. There is a fully functional smoker grandfathered into the property, rumored to have been built by the same folks who built Everett & Jones’ smokers back in the day! Fun fact: most of the trivia players at Stay Gold are not big sports fans. Hence, the groan heard throughout the place when the Olympics-themed picture round was announced!

It was overall a generally low-scoring night. Los Osos Locos and Toasted Buns started the night neck and neck, and pretty much stayed that way. Though in round 6, newcomers Flying Squirrels suddenly propelled themselves to within striking distance, having aced all the questions. If only they had gone for that double or nothing! At the end of that round, Los Osos Locos and Toasted Buns were tied at 26 each, with Flying Squirrels in striking distance at 20.

Speaking of double or nothing, Los Osos Locos went for it in round 7, thinking that their knowledge of box office success of Julia Roberts movies would propel them to victory over Toasted Buns. Unfortunately, to paraphrase a certain Indiana Jones movie, "they chose poorly." In the end, it was Toasted Buns that took home the victory, with Los Osos Locos in second and Flying Squirrels. whom it seems are not Julia Roberts devotees, a close third.
