QUIZ RECAP

It was a very tight competition for most of the night. Uncharacteristically, Toasted Buns started off in last place...and though they soon rebounded to take the lead, a couple of missteps had them ultimately tied for 2nd place with Los Osos Locos(who won the tiebreaker). My Other Car Is A Trivia Team, who was flying solo most of the evening, took the lead in round 4 and held onto it to the end for the victory.

Now that we're in the "Endgame" for Game of Thrones(see what I did there?), for the drinking round everyone was asked to give their best/wildest theories as to how that series would end. Here they are:

• Danaerys kills Jon to take the Iron Throne. Then dragons turn on her, kill everyone & Westeros becomes Dragon Land.
• Aliens invade, run into Jon Snow. "Ah, you must be Ned Stark's bastard." Then they reveal that Sam was the rightful king all along. The end!
• Danaerys wins. #thefutureisfemale
• Jon Snow, Aegon Targaryen, united the 7 Kingdoms only to be killed after fathering an heir to his aunt. This heir is the Prince Who Was Promised, Azor Ahi, who with his mother banishes the Night King, aka Bran, after the dead take over Westeros.
• The White Walkers bear down on Winterfell. One by one they fall, becoming an army of the dead themselves. The Night King continues south after killing all at Winterfell. Cersei flees across the sea as the White Walkers take King's Landing. Dany & Jon Snow have also fled on their dragons. Last, the army of the dead freezes the desert, destroying Dorne and all the humans there. The season ends with the Night King facing the sea, ready to board boats to cross and take all other lands. Meanwhile, Dany & Jon land, finding that Dany is miraculously pregnant. The spinoffs begin.
• Hodor, prompted by a time-traveling Rick Sanchez, starts a cult that eventually envelops all of Westeros. They die wearing purple robes and brand new Nikes after ingesting Kool-Aid.
• Plot twist: there is no throne. Everyone becomes so inbred that society collapses.
