QUIZ RECAP

We had lots of awws and aughs at T. Phillip's Monrovia Thursday as some tough rounds had people agonizing over many hard questions. Geography, television, music, you name it had people wondering and debating to no end. 6 is the Perfect Number and Double Entendre started slow with 4 and 2, respectively, but then 6 is the Perfect # took a commanding early lead with a double down 16 in round 2, and even though the scores after that were mostly 6s with a few other single digit scores thrown in, they never lost the lead against trailers the Double Entendres. Some late competition came in at round 4, as 2 new teams came to challenge. Despite the late start, they came very close to an upset, and finished third and fourth by just a couple points due to some great double downs and old world knowledge. Way to go, Dudes and Alsace!
