It was a night of unexpected turns at T. Phillips Alehouse. We started with 3 teams. Vlahos was kicking butt, winning every round by a mile. And then they had to leave early! The smart as a whip daughter who was getting most of the answers, was also the most talented of the bunch. She was starring as Jasmine in Aladdin the next day! Well break a leg, young one!
We were then left with The Spanish Inquisition and Ginko. The Spanish Inquisition was conquering all but one round, and it seems pretty clear then were going to win it all. but then round 6 came along, and they were a bit stumped, getting only 3 correct. Ginko picked up the gauntlet then with a daring double down, and came back strong with a perfect 20 for the round setting them ahead by 10 points! Then The Spanish Inquisitors, er, Inquisition, decided they were having none of that. In round 7 those inquisitive inquisitors doubled down when listing the ten most consumed meats in the U.S., and got one wrong! Nooo, catfish is not in the top 12! So unfortunately The Inquisition got a 0 for that round. Meanwhile Ginko worked hard and kept it simple with out going double or nothing. and it paid off since they too had catfish. Hm, what is it about catfish? It's a show, but still. Well Ginko got a 6 for the round and that was enough to win the game! In fact, they won by 18 points! What a turnaround! Congratulations guys, you deserved it!
