When Bersephones, God of Styrofoam, packed a large fishing pole into a crate to send to his friend Golanus, God Of Hobbies, he'd forgotten that, due to a deal he had to make with Poseidon, some of the crate's route would have to be underwater. No one likes to get shook down by a God, so Bersephones sent a text via the clouds to Golanus that said: "Hey, the less business I give that goon Poseidon the better, so can you just pick up the pole at my place?" and Golanus was like: "Sure," but then Poseidon broke in with his own text and said: "Um, you guys know I can read this right?" Point is: If a god wants to shake you down, you're probably gonna get shook down. Good news though: No such shake down occurred last night at the Glendale Tap on King Trivia night. Let's talk!
The Drinking Round was a Thatch Off: One person from each team was to do their best impression of the Iron Lady herself, UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. One team competed. One team won. And she was British too. It's a good thing she won! Would've been weird otherwise.
In third place with 47 points was Live Laugh Love! In second place with 48 points was Robert & The Passengers. And maintaining their first place position all night long were the Jazzcats with 52 points! Huzz. Ah.
Come back next Wednesday night and every Wednesday night at 7:30 at the Glendale Tap for more King Trivia fun!
