When Peropticles, God Of Expensive Desserts, ran out of nutmeg whilst preparing crême brûleé for the Carnival Of Stars, a huge event where gods from all over the known and unknown universe convene and pretend to like each other, he immediately summoned his friend Fobratrix, God Of Condiments, and said: “Hey, I’m outta nutmeg. Can you fire off a supply to my pantry ASAP?” But Fobatrix was in the middle of catering one of the wars of Sangor, God Of Blood. He was behind on deli prep just as Sangor’s horde was charging up the Hill Of Bones and knew they were gonna be hungry; he was in dire need of supplies himself. “Tell you what,” Fob offered, “I’ll have my assistant Chromax bring a pouch of nutmeg, but I can only spare a pouch. I’ve got other things going on!” Peropticles agreed and when the nutmeg arrived, carried by Chromax in a dusty pouch, it was then and only then that Peropticles thought: “Maybe this god thing ain’t for me?” Point is: This kind of ambiguity was nowhere insight Wednesday night at The Glendale Tap King Trivia Night! The Drinking Round was a Lion King Off. Whoever could do the best impression of their favorite character from The Lion King won free drinks for their team. Some guy came up, sang the first bellowing cry of “Ingonyama” and almost shut down the bar. It would’ve been weird if he hadn’t won.

In third place was Trivia.png with 59 points! In second was The Titsburg Feelers with 62 points! (That’s a team name I’ve always wanted to say into a microphone.)
