When Delapitous, God Of Playing Cards, dealt the game known as Go Nova, he assumed all players at the table were at least familiar with it. First invented several trillions of years ago, Go Nova is a game in which all players are dealt an entire standard deck of 52 playing cards. From those cards, each player must construct a practical Celestron Refractor telescope with which to view the farthest stars. Players may use ANY or none of their cards to do this. “We’re gods!” the players exclaimed, “what’s to stop us from just cheating and making a telescope appear out of thin air?” said one of Del’s god-friends. Another said: “We’re gods, can’t we just GO to any star we want? Like, right now?” It soon became apparent that when you can do whatever you want, it’s not so much fun being a god. Point is: There may not have been any gods at the Glendale Tap on King Trivia’s Wednesday Night Trivia Night, but there was also no cheating! Let’s talk:
The Drinking Round was won by Floatin’ Goats who not only had a guy who could do a great impression of Napoleon Dynamite but who also looked like him! He won before he even opened his mouth. God!
In third place with 45 points were The Hot Carls. (They kept In second was Mister Littledog And Friends with 60 points. And taking the night was the aforementioned Floatin’ Goats with a winning score of 62 points. Come back next Wednesday for more King Trivia fun at The Glendale Tap!
