Flanripedes, God Of Mexican custard, was pouring butterscotch into a three-by-five bowl at The Trojan Convention for a live flan demonstration when he suddenly remembered: “I left the iron on back home!” Immediately teleporting from the convention back to his studio apartment in the clouds, he found he had left the iron on—one of many irons he had in many kilns. When not making cosmic Mexican custard, Flan (to his friends) enjoyed making swords. So when he says he left the iron on, he’s talking about metal working and forging things in fire. Know what I mean? His landlord came knocking. “Oh, you’re back. I was gonna have to call the fire department.” “Hey,” asked Flan to his landlord, “could you handle this for me? I got a bunch of custard back at the con I gotta deal with and I just don’t have time for this.” Obliging him, the landlord promised he’d tend to the still glowing irons as Flan teleported back to his custard customers or, as he liked to call them, his custard-mers. Meanwhile, the landlord took it upon himself to steal all of Flan’s swords so as to attend the Trojan War Reenactment Convention the following week. Point is: Nothing like this happened at The Glendale Tap King Trivia Night. Let’s talk:

The Drinking Round was a Dynamite Off. Napoleon Dynamite, that is. Some guy from one of the teams did a C+ impression of him and won. That was all it took. Anyone can do it, and anyone did do it!

In third place tonight was Zach at 39 points but he’s an employee of the Glendale Tap so he handed it off to the fourth place finishers which were Jazzcats, and I think they planned it this way the whole time. Cunning and sneaky. In second place was the two-personed Discount Robert Plant Tickets $150.00 with a score of 53 points.
