QUIZ RECAP

There's a certain charm to a place like the Glendale Tap. A place where Halloween skeletons ride in the rafters no matter what month of the year it is. A place where the jukebox plays tunes you can head-bang to, no matter how hard a day it's been. A place where, dare I say, everybody knows your name?

Every King Trivia match is special, there's no doubt about that, but in this quiz master's opinion, there was something legendary about 12/4's match-up at the Glendale Tap. Where the vibe was more about friends coming together and having fun than winning prizes. Where the talk was about the new Wicked movie and big, fluffy dogs sat on the patio. 

Friends were made at this match-up. One lovely group, aptly called "Gizzards" even offered to share their fried-chicken with me, which I was all too happy to accept, as I am fond of fried chicken. It's moments like these that remind one that at the end of the day, a trivia team is like a family, brought together by love, with occassional bouts of tension.
