QUIZ RECAP

Most teams realized that they should play more aggressive after several perfect round 1s. However, this, of course, led to countless failed doubles. It was a roller coaster of a game tonight & a champion emerged!

TREY DONGZ was one of the teams with a perfect 1st round, but they still keep the urge to double subdued as they don't double until the last round, which was a great call because almost half the teams had a successful double in round 7.

Bruce Jennertalia had an excellent game with 2 doubles (in the 1st & last round) & they would've easily sailed into 1st if it wasn't for the video game round (round 6) in which they had the lowest score other than failed doubles. After round 6, they fell into 4th, but then were able to climb back into 2nd with a double to end the game! This recovery was worth it as they take the silver!

Misplaced Confidence seemed to have a very emotional game as they start the game off with a perfect round, which encouraged a double in round 2 which was successful, which encouraged another double in round 3 which failed. They wouldn't double again until the last round, but had excellent scores in between. Their round 6 performance was key in securing 1st for them & that's where they passed their rivals. They finish there & take the gold, becoming the champions of the night!

It was a small yet still exciting game tonight as we played a good old fashioned game of trivia. Let's get into it!

Veggie Scrambles played very conservatively with no doubles attempted & they missed out on a couple of doubles that they could've had with two perfect rounds. Nonetheless, their high scores were enough to finish 3rd & they take the bronze!

Trey Dongz were barely clinging to 2nd for most of the game, but then they made a huge splash with a successful double in round 6. Which insured their 2nd place finish as they take the silver!

Bruce Jennertalia started the game off with an amazing recovery as they failed on the double in round 1, but then answer that with 2 successful doubles in a row! They go on to only miss 2 questions in the 2nd half, which lead to a dominant win! They take the gold & are the champions of the night!

It was a tough one tonight as almost every round had at least one tricky question & we didn't see any successful doubles until the very last round. It was a very exciting end as well. Who came out on top? Let's get into it!

Party of 1 + 5 was one of the teams that didn't double until the last round, but they set themselves up for success with a foundation of good scores throughout the game. They wisely chose the right time to strike as well so they would place (they would've come in 4th otherwise). They jog across the finish line in 3rd, taking the bronze!

Fear of Flying & Bruce Jennertalia almost had an identical game tonight! The only difference was round 2, where Fear of Flying did slightly better, & round 3, where Bruce Jenneralia did slightly better. After round 3, they were tied for the entire rest of the game, which included both teams having a perfect round 6 & both doubling in the last round. It gets even crazier because we had to go to a 2nd tiebreaker as they also tied in the 1st tiebreaker! Fear of Flying comes out on top & Bruce Jennertalia finishes in 2nd, taking the silver! Fear of Flying takes 1st, grabs the gold, & are now the 2 week reigning champions!
