King Trivia Night at Ailoli Burgers kicked off the festivities with four teams, three newbies and one veteran. And in honor of the holidays, Aioli management graciously provided prizes for all four teams. All the teams came out of the gate strong in Round 1 with great scores. Proving to be risk takers, both the Rojas Sisters and the Princesses did not shy away from using the "Double or Nothing" option multiple times throughout the night. The Rojas Sisters scored an almost perfect round for "Make the Connection" and were the only team to correctly answer the "Guess Who round, while Jingle Balls and The Princesses ended strong with almost perfect scores in Round 7. The final tally went as follows; Fourth Place, Harmony Fitness, Tony Jones; Third Place, The Princesses, Paul Bibby and Monica Lozano; Second Place, The Rojas Sisters, Paola Bibby and Rocio Mancillas; with Jingle Balls taking home First Place, Mike Peters.

This week's showdown was between the Mighty Fighty Shushbugs and Jingle Balls at the Aioli Gourmet Burgers King Trivia Night. The challenge was neck and neck, with only one point separating the two teams throughout the first three rounds. However, all that changed when we reached the Guess Who Round. Jingle Balls went out on a limb and made their best guess after only the first clue, scoring an impressive 10 points. Jingle Balls was able to maintain their lead for the remaining three rounds bringing in a comfortable win with 46 points over the Shushbugs 39. Mike Peters of Jingle Balls took home first place with Dr Britt Rhuart of the Mighty Fighty Shushbugs happily taking second.

We had two returning teams and a newcomer this week. Team 13 who was innocently having dinner decided to join us once they saw how much fun was in store for them. They came on strong from the start making us all think that they've probably done this before. One of the funnier moments of the evening was when two teams entered "Kroger" Sutherland as their response. Apparently, if you spell Kiefer just right or should I say "just wrong" it autocorrects it to Kroger. We all had a good laugh out of that one. A first for us was when someone got the "guess who" round on the first clue. I thought for awhile we were going to have another tie breaker on our hands. But in the end, Dr. Britt Rhuart of Mighty Fighty Shushbugs took first place with a one point lead over Team 13. Your Mom took third place. To summarize, Mike Peters of Your Mom took third, Kent Cullumber III, Kent Cullumber Jr, Rebecca Brinkmann and Shane Brinkmann of Team 13 locked in second and Dr Britt Rhuart took home first place.
