In 2016, the Desert Brothers launched Angry Horse Brewing. In March of 2017 they opened up their first taproom and are now brewing and serving artisan craft beer in Montebello, CA.

We are cultivators of classic, yet distinct flavors. We pride ourselves on our artisanal approach and aim to innovate. We aspire to produce a quality product that enhances any occasion or culinary experience.

With the Holiday season in full swing, the denizens of Montebello showed out for their Wednesday trivia with festive zeal.

It was an enjoyable night of trivia, with the poorly constructed sequel to Tim Allen's "The Santa Clause" playing on the big screen in the background. Our champions, Verified Fake Team, were able to avoid distraction from this mess of a movie and win with a whopping 47 points. In second was Double Trouble, and bringing up third was the simply named Green.

Fun little tidbit. The sign in front of the bar actually was only half-lit, so it just said "ANGRY." Safe to say, the mood of the evening was anything but.

Wow, we had fun at Angry Horse tonight! Some good friends stopped by and some smart and enthusiastic players competed, who promised to come back every week!

It was really anybody's game the whole night as teams were going head to head, first with lots of ties all around, then everyone was divided by just a few points. First, Verified Fake Team would be in the lead, then others would catch up. Not all the way, but almost. The Fakers were legit and kept the lead most of the night. Nova kicked butt a few rounds, then a 1 and a 0. Then Brewski's lost a couple but kept chipping away with a competitive spirit. Then suddenly Team Hammer Macaroni got some great scores, but it looked like they might lose to the Fakes, but they brought down the Hammer at the end with some great social media tags which tied the score after round 7! So we went to a tie breaking question! And it was team Hammer Macaroni by a nose! you just never know what's going to happen!

What a great night, thanks guys, come back and bring it next week!
