QUIZ RECAP

Thank you to all the teams that put up with my ghetto trivia books tonight.  I can't wait til my car is back from the shop so I can refill my supply.  Even with the unsightly trivia answer sheets, tonight was a fun competitive night!  We had a variety of teams playing with us, from a first date couple to a family affair.  It was great to see you all!

The top three teams tonight were "I Would Never Call Dan Mitchell Fat and Short," Show Me Your Kitties, and Lone Ranger.  The Dan Mitchell team (pictured) had a rough start, failing a double down in the second round.  Even though they got 0 points in that round, they some how came back at the very end with two successful double downs in a row!  Show Me Your Kitties was the leader the majority of the night until Dan Mitchell hit the second double.  They were super shocked to see Dan Mitchell sprinting up on them.  Show Me Your Kitties had an opportunity to keep their lead, they only had to check the double down box in round 6.  They got 10 out of 10 on the Superman matching, yet were not confident enough to risk the double or nothing.  It was this one decision that let Dan Mitchell jump ahead of them.  Meanwhile, Lone Ranger sat at the bar and calculated his odds of winning third place while the top two teams were distracted with one another.  Lone Ranger even registered his team at KingTrivia.com to insure he would get 3rd place.  It was a smart move that secured his $10 BarFood gift card.  Congratulations to all the winners as well as all the people who escaped their home this Sunday night.

QUIZ RECAP

It was an exciting night at BarFood!  BarFood was on TV!!!  That's right, at 9pm, Food Paradise highlighted BarFood's amazing food and people on the Travel Channel!  It was a great way to wrap up trivia night.

Dan Mitchell A Team (pictured first) also had an exciting night, returning to BarFood, finishing with 64 points, and winning a $30 gift card.  They doubled down only once to get there, but that was all they needed.  Our second place team, Moon walking with Stephen Hawking (pictured second), hit a huge double in the last round to add 20 points to their score.  This was a huge hit and clinched the $20 gift card.  Thirsty Education was shocked to see another team jump in front of them in the 7th round, but didn't go away empty handed.  They got a $10 gift card!  What a fun night, ya'll!  Have a great week and I'll see you next Sunday !

QUIZ RECAP

Today at BarFood, we finally did a full music round!! YAY! I played ten random songs in the 7th round and challenged the teams to name the song title and artist.  One point per piece of information.  I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as Titty Sprinkles (pictured first) did.  Titty Sprinkles really nailed their answers and used the music round to clinch their first place prize.  Not to be out done, Shave My Back (pictured second) was definitely a contender in the music round.  They named 12 different pieces of information pertaining to the music played.  Only three less than Titty Sprinkles!  This secured their second place finish.  Last, but not least, we had "Wait, the World Series is On?" finish in third!  They were sneaking up on Titty Sprinkles the entire night.  They just couldn't pass them.  In the final round, they named 11 items about the music.  It wasn't quite enough for 1st but they didn't go away empty handed.  They got a $10 gift card! YAY!!  Yay for gift cards!  Yay for the World Series!  Yay for Urethra Franklin!!
