QUIZ RECAP

It was great to be back hosting trivia at Barney's Beanery! What a night it was! 5 teams submitted an unsuccessful double or nothing in round 6 which blew the game wide open! Cherk Me Hereder Derder successfully doubled in the final round but just missed out on the money. The Office played a strong game and held the lead late but ended up in third. 3 peas and a Dumpling were the only team to successfully double round 6 which gave them 2nd. Bart Fell Down a Well almost fell out of it but a successful double in the final round propelled them to first!

QUIZ RECAP

Tonight was my second night in a row subbing for QuizMaster Kevin at Barneys and it was a real treat once again! Since the World Series was out of the way, us Trivia nerds were the stars of the bar(s) this time (or at least I like to think so)!

We started off with a three way tie for first but Kawai Fears Giannis quickly gained the lead by round two and kept an almost 20 point lead throughout the entire game winning their well-deserved first place prize. Kawai Fears Giannis also took the drinking round this evening-they were on fire!

Second and third place skipped around to a lot of different teams throughout the night but finally landed on a tie for second between They Call Me EZ and You Peed on My Dragon and I Saw Your Penis. They Call Me EZ came out on top though knowing or at least guessing their baseball knowledge!

Thanks so much for all the teams that came out and played! It was a blast to sub at Barney's these last couple of weeks!

QUIZ RECAP

Last night I had the pleasure of subbing at Barneys Beanery on the Redondo pier. As the World Series was commencing, we played silent trivia for the first hour of trivia. I had my winning team, The Elephants, double or nothing successfully for the first three rounds putting them far in the lead. My second place team, Sweet Scaroline, was behind for a lot of the game but made an important double or nothing that put them in third place and eventually in second by one point! My third place team , Would You Like to see My Penis Costume? was such a hoot and definitely had a very creative and forward team name!

Our drinking round consisted of teams drawing their own monster and naming it. Although they were all exquisite options, I had to go with Mr. Trumpkin but team Tipsy Mcstagger. The pictures are below!
