QUIZ RECAP

Round 1 started in quite a friendly way to start the new year. Teams eased into the trivia with confidence, mostly scoring near the top. Beverages reigned supreme in round 2 and our teams washed them down with a healthy serving of points. The happy theme of round 3 had some teams frowning, unable to reach into the depths of their minds for smiley thoughts after the doozy of a year that was 2018. Jonathan Groft eluded almost everyone with lots of negative points going around, but a few teams came out not too shabby by comparison. Round 5 brought it back with teams breaking bad to find the connection. Spirits were up in the final stretch as teams threw themselves full force into maximum pointitude.

Round 6 was a little more heartening as teams were able to flex their fictional geography skills, but round 7 was a headscratcher with most teams searching for first childrean (including one president!)

QUIZ RECAP

On Wednesday's we wear pink and we play trivia. This Wednesday had a little twist, instead of the normal quizmaster his young apprentice/ score keeper took control of the game plus a new score keeper helped with assistance. Overall, the correlation with trivia and 'Mean Girls' was a blast! I enjoyed watching the teams join together and come up with brilliant answers as well as the laughs we had at all the answers that surprised us. Wednesday's are a pure blast with all types of fun and the crowds definitely add more excitement I cannot wait until next week.

A wild night and even though we didn't have the karaoke Shane wanted for his birthday, he still got loads of trivia and a nice song at the end

teams were all over the place in their general knowledge round, either scoring near-perfect, or hardly anything. It's alright, though, round 2 is always there with some pretty pictures to distract us. Round 3 kept the reality going as teams were scratching their heads trying to figure out how metal these questions really were. Michael Cera's lesser-known biographical elements allowed him to elude the minds of most quizzers until the third clue, and the burn was just harsh enough to send a few into a stupor. The next 3 rounds were a nice pick-me-up for most teams, but none moreso than the Trivia Bois, who jumped to first with three double-downs in a row! The real excitement, came however, between Jeff and We Came in 4th last time, who had to fight for second with a rousing tiebreaker!
