Thank you for coming out to flex your mental muscles and attempt to gain trivia domination! It was a tough night and the competition was fierce.
Single and Ready to Jingle had the lead for a short time and it looked like they were likely to place but Dread Pirate Roberts ended up plundering the 3rd place spot. Several heavy hitters tried to gain a placing beer tab gold, the Kamikaze Kangaroos (who took the Scary Christmas bonus round win), Impatient for Impeachment, Thrillhouse and TACOCAT (formerly Brewbeardz) just couldn't find the pocket and finished the game thirsty for more.
Leaving the battle for first between Check it Out (some serious trivia veterans) and somewhat new to the game but they love it just the same, they are angry matriarchs who definitely oppose being behind the wheel while inebriated, Mother's Against Drunk Driving. In a sudden death tie-breaking round, it would be MADD who soberly skidded into championship glory and free beer! Check it Out missed the win it by the skin of their teeth but they were content to take a good hard look at 2nd.
Before I sign off a final shout out to my new teams Homer Homies & Encyclopedia Dan, it was wonderful to meet you! And to Mr. Chode, I just want to say I thoroughly enjoy your name... Don't you ever stop!
