Brewyard Beer Co. is a new Craft Brewery & Taproom in Glendale, CA. We specialize in Californian "Aled" Lagers. The most well known of this hybrid style is the California Common (A.K.A Steam Beer). We offer 8 of these hybrid beers currently: Soul Cal (California Common), Imposter Syndrome (India Pale Ale'd Lager), Black Sunrise (Black Ale'd Lager), The Smoking Redhead (Smoked Irish Red Ale'd Lager), Sunday Morning (Pale Ale'd Lager), Sunday Morning Joe (Ethiopia Yirgecheffe Coffee infused Pale Ale'd Lager) & Perky DIPL (Double India Pale Ale'd Lager). We also have a very popular Saison brewed with Passion Fruit, A Basil Belgian Single and a Belgian Dubbel.

What a great night of trivia action this week at The Brewyard Beer Company in Burbank! With the outdoor seating area off limits due to a wet pre-winter cold snap, 14 intrepid teams packed the place to engage in vigorous competition.

When the dust settled, The Titsburg Feelers found themselves at the top of the leader board, having edged out the win by successfully identifying the countries that border Germany - and doubling to score a come-from-behind victory.

Ahh victory! What a sweet sensation! I'm sure that's what Patrick Dempsey felt when People Magazine chose home over this crestfallen quizmaster for Sexiest Man Alive honors for 2023.

But I cannot allow my broken heart to get in the way of performing my duties as your faithful quizmaster! Which I will do, once again, next week at the Brewyard. Join us, won't you?

T'was the night before Thanksgiving, and all was merry and bright at the Brewyard Beer Company in Burbank. We have a great group of quizinators at the Brewyard, and we are certainly thankful for you all.

But I have to confess, this quizmaster did not feel very joyful during the festivities. Truth be told, I've been pretty upset for the last few days. I should be grateful, I know. I have my health. A wonderful wife; tremendous friends. Food on the table; no wolf at the door.

Yes, I have much to be thankful for. And yet, I cannot escape the dark cloud that appeared over my head recently, when People Magazine announced their Sexiest Man Alive for 2023.

Patrick Dempsey!? Patrick FREAKING Dempsey!?! I've been passed over AGAIN!?! I mean, George Clooney was hard enough to accept but now this!?

Happy Thanksgiving...I guess!

The best thing about the quiz tonight at the Brewyard Beer Company in Burbank was the terrific, unrelenting competitive fervor that was on display all evening.

The lead changed hands several times. The final scores were remarkably close, and the tie-breaker question was called into service to determine the final winner.

There was an unfortunate incident involving wet paper towels being thrown among certain gloating competitors, like a U.S. senator picking a fight with a teamster. But peace was restored quickly and the evening ended harmoniously. See ya next week.
