Tuesday Night at The Canterbury was a fun time for Trivia!
We had four teams playing and three prizes to give-ia!
Three of the teams kept it close for the game
And Tomato Potato HollyBolly Bug-a-Lug had the longest team name.
It's too bad they had to leave after Round Four.
I needed to practice saying their name a lot more.
In Round Six the three teams accomplished an amazing feat
They all hit the Double or Nothing- it was super neat!
It was in Round 7 where things took a turn
Two Missed Double or Nothings caused quite a burn.
In the beginning it was a pretty close race,
Honey Smacks ended in Third Place.
Cornstache's position was on the rise,
But walked home that night with the Second Place Prize.
The most astounding thing in the evening that had occurred
Was First Place going to Tequila Mockingbird!

It was Tuesday Night. It was 7pm. So of course that meant another night of trivia at The Canterbury Ale House!
We started the night with 3 teams and ended with 4 teams!
It was pretty even heat between Power Couple (though they brought a dog so maybe they should change it to Trio?), Honey Smacks, and Touched By An Uncle during most of the quiz! Third Round newcomers, Jacket Off In Church had a rough start. But things really turned around in Round 6. Jacket Off In Church had a strong round, only missing two answers.
Meanwhile Power Couple faded into the background missing a Double or Nothing. But it was Touched By An Uncle that closed a two point gap and ended Round 6 by tied with Honey Smacks.
In Round 7 Jacket Off In Church missed a Double or Nothing, but ended the night with honor and respect. Power Couple missed the Double or Nothing as well, but had a dog to console them (and a 3rd Place Prize). Both Honey Smacks and Touched By An Uncle found success and went in the tie breaker for the 1st Place Prize. But Touched By An Uncle came closest to the number of hits Pete Rose had missing the total by just under 200!

Great night for the Quiz at the Canterbury!
There was a birthday, Find the Connection groans, frantically ripped answer sheets, and a team called The Missing Children who joined us midway through Round 3. Stayed for Round 4. And then... well... went Missing. I guess it wasn't just a clever name.
We had three teams that kept it all within 4 points of one another and there wasn't one team that didn't hold the lead for at least part of the night!
It was Orange You Glad I Didn't Say Banana that leaped ahead in Round 6. But both William Turns 21 Again and We're Different were nipping at their heels.
It wasn't quite enough because We're Different had to settle for 3rd Place, while William Turns 21 Again and took 2nd. It was Orange You Glad I Didn't Say Banana that went home with the 1st Place Prize!
Now to see if I can find The Missing Children...
