8 teams battled their wits for another matchup of King Trivia at Chapter One!

Special shoutout to "Caps" who came to see the Eagles win and stuck around to play some q's and a's. "Leotards" played hard doubling or nothing on a few rounds. Unfortunately they came up with nothin' on both. I admire their conviction, though. 🙂

"The Duke Silver Backing Band" game back to play and kicked some trivia ass ending up in THIRD place.

"The Little 4 Accountant" had a brilliant strategy of trying to answer all the questions correctly. It got them all the way to SECOND place. 😉

And coming in FIRST was a returning King Trivia and Chapter One fave, "Lord Chamberlain's Men." It was bitter-sweet win. One of the founding members is off to Chicago and tonight was her last night. Many of her friends and teammates came out to play and send her off. It was very touching and $30 cheaper since they won the gift card for FIRST place! 😀

6 teams showed up to Chapter One to throw down some answers to our King Trivia questions. And what a battle it was. "Annoying Lawyers" were anything but and played an impressive game, especially in our Handout Round where they got them ALL right! "Raider Nation" formerly "Paul Gag" played a great game answering many of the questions correctly but ended up getting a big ole "0" on the final round when they Doubled or Nothing. "PP" always kicks ass but did have some difficulty on the final round. A Chapter One favorite, "Lord Chamberlain's Men," came back for another matchup and did extremely well coming in THIRD. "Pro Golfer" not only won our Drinking Round but they also came in SECOND. Coming in FIRST place was "The Flying Hellfish." They played consistently well from round to round. Congrats to everyone who came out to play and looking forward to next time!

We had another fun and exciting game of King Trivia tonight at Chapter 1!! 5 teams all fought the good fight to see who would be the most smartest. Actually, one team didn't fight the good fight cause they were cheating so they had to forfeit. And another team tried to answer a few rounds but unfortunately alcohol doesn't make you smarter so they just petered away.

So that left THREE teams to fight the good fight. And they did! Lindsey a/k/a "PP!" a/k/a the kick-ass server who always plays a great game as she serves up Chapter One's incredible food and drink came in THIRD.

"Charlene's Angels" was a super fun birthday group who were all celebrating Charlene's birthday. They had no idea they were walking into a trivia night but decided to give it a shot. Turned out this birthday gal has some pretty smart friends because they managed to correctly answer their way to SECOND place.

"The Scrubs" came in FIRST place which was kind of a feat since they started late. But they really picked up points as the rounds went on. Congrats to everyone who played except those who cheated. Remember, cheating only works if you're president! See yous next week!!
