Showcasing a blend of San Diego and coastal California selections with out-of-state brews to boot, the tap system at Common Theory features a rotating selection of over 30 craft beers on tap. With the variety of brews paired with a knowledgeable staff, beer aficionados and craft beer newbies are sure to find a new brew! Displayed on the chalkboard overlooking the tap system, cozy up to the bar for a brew or find refuge at a multitude of communal tables and couches. Revolving around the theory of simplicity, the kitchen at the beer-centric eatery doles out cuisine inspired by the diversity of California. The global menu features Duck Fat Fries (in three mouthwatering sizes), Buffalo Cauliflower, and a hearty bowl of polenta topped with crispy pork belly and shredded duck confit. It’s pub-style food with an upscale twist, a perfect pairing with a cold glass of beer!

Another great night at Trivia last night! Had a pretty good turnout last night and it was a pretty close game!

Did another joke of the day round and the crowd seemed to really like it! Here's the winner:

"How do you make a tissue dance?

You put a little boogie in it!"

It was a close game between Team Snoop Dog the Bounty Hunter and Team Smarty Pinty, but from the power of Double or Nothing, Team Smarty Pints came out on top. Thanks to everyone who came out last night and see ya next time!

Twas another great night of trivia at Common Theory last night! Only 3 teams came out (including the wait staff), but everyone seemed to have a good time regaurdless!

All three teams dominated the Round 6 mix and match and they all marked down double or nothing which was awesome! Team Mr. E came close to 1st, but Team Tetrehedral Earth Society came out on top by getting double points on several rounds. Thanks to everyone who showed up and I hope to see more teams in the coming weeks!

Another great night of trivia at Common Theory last night! It was a close game between the teams last night, but Team "What did you say?" came out on top.

The teams especially enjoyed the joke round last night. Here were a couple of my favorites.

" I wouldn't buy anything with velcro, it's a total rip-off."

"What do you do if you're attacked by a gang of clowns? You go for the juggler."

Team "Daddy Issues" nailed the Round #4 question, putting them in the lead for until Round #6, in which they were tied for first with Team "What did you say?." However, Team "What did you say?" pulled ahead in Round #7 and won by one point! Thanks to all the teams for coming out and looking forward to another great night of trivia next week!
