About Dog Haus - Canoga Park

Dog Haus has garnered critical acclaim and national attention for its signature all beef Haus Dogs and hand crafted proprietary Haus Sausages, as well as their 100% genetically tested, humanely raised Black Angus beef using no hormones and no antibiotics – never ever. All dogs, sausages and burgers are served on grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls.  Open for lunch and dinner daily, guests can choose from signature, one-of-kind Haus creations or customize their own from a wide array of unique toppings.

Founded by partners Hagop Giragossian, Quasim Riaz and Andre Vener, three friends who share a passion for creativity, quality and commitment to community, the first Dog Haus opened in Pasadena, California in 2010.

Round 2

 

Looks like word got out about the trivia show at the family friendly Dog Haus, and what a turn out. We had almost double the teams this week with a few leaving early when the competition got to heated, to those that came in late and tried to make one of America's Greatest Underdog story, a good time was had by all. In the first round we had The Skeptics and Black Dragon Society take the lead in the beginning with 7 points a piece that is until The Cheaters came tried to make a run in Round 3 with 18 points but the Black Dragon Society kept on stacking and stacking. They took control and dominated each round leaving the rest of the teams to fight for second and third place. Which brought it down to The Cheaters and Dodgers 7 Marlins Zip ( aka The Burning Sensations & The Skeptics) to battle it out for second. And what a battle? It was a 1 point difference the whole way though until Round 6 where The Cheaters scored twice as many as Dodgers 7 Marlins Zip. Of course Dog Haus Music all night long walked away this evening as the King of Trivia but will they reign supreme for a second week in a row?

A Night To Remember

 

What an amazing first night over at Dog Haus. With hesitations that firsts bring us in life, be it a first kiss, your first haircut, or in this case even your first show; there is always something nerve racking about the unknown of what can happen during the first experience but it was safe to say this night couldn't have gone any better. We had a turn out of quite a few teams in this family friendly environment. Not to mention the smell, and taste of the food itself filled the room with a positive energy. The enthusiasm coming from the teams who stay the whole way through were bar none to be matched. It the first few rounds we had the strong smarts of BLIP making a statement that they didn't come to kid around. After finding out how they jumped to the lead the rest of the teams were quick to follow suit and register there teams to get whatever points they could. Which proved to be beneficial as SOP and This is Urine Town came through in the later rounds to tie up the game at the end lead us to a THREE-WAY TIE on our very first night! I never thought I would see the day where three teams had a tie let alone our first night at Dog Haus. If this isn't a sign of whats to come than I don't know what is! Long story short we ended the night with BLIP breaking the tie in first, This is Urine Town in second, and SOP in third. Still, this gives me chills!
