FULL HOUSE

This Thursday was the night we all been waiting for; it seems that word around town has spread and we had a packed house this week over at DogHaus. We had teams coming in, during all rounds of the game and each round was closer than the last between some of the teams. Early in the game Orange is the New Gator (OISTNG) took a dominating lead amongst the other teams getting a perfect round, taking first place with an 8 point lead ahead of the second place team which happened to be Bills Angels. They maintained that lead in the second round, however Bills Angels did not, losing their position to Classic Irish Jew Car (CIJW) , and struggling to battle for third with BLIP . Unfortunately in round three CIJC lost their lead to Smarty Pants, 23 to 18. If you were wondering what happened to OITNG , well they still had the first place lead before and after the 4th round, but the dog fight for 2nd and 3rd was still anybodies game, as CIJC came back to reclaim 2nd place leaving Smarty Pants to battle it out with Unicorn Dogs for third place. Round 5 still kept the Gators in first, but not the same story for CIJC , as they fell to third after Unicorn Dogs had an outstanding round and no problem Finding the Connection. Also just a special mention that this was the entry round for Happy Froods, who by the looks of it would have done well had they shown up a bit earlier.Round 6 seemed to be everybody's favorite round as we had 3 out of 5 of the remaining teams getting a perfect round! Happy Froods came in big this round scoring more points than any other team, but it was the overall dominance of the previous round which made our Royal Family of Trivia this week to OITNB. If you were wondering what was going with the war zone we called "second and third place," well its safe to say Unicorn Dogs made an outstanding comeback from not being in the top three, to finishing second, and CIJC barely escaping to finish in third.

Ruff Night!

Summer is here and so is the heat! We had a scorcher on Thursday which prevented some teams from coming out this week, but that never stopped a Champion before. Even though we had a small turnout this week the competition was still close nonetheless. From the start of the round all the way through the end it was a close game between the 22's and Blip. I would like to say the same for team Tater Tots but it seems like they came in way to late to make a stand, sorry Tots! In the early round the 22's took a 2 point lead ahead of Blip and continued that all the way til Round 3 where Blip tied the game at 18 points a piece. However with a difficult Guess Who this week the Twenty Twos where the only team who where able to decipher our famous person. They continued to hold that lead throughout the rest of the game steadily increasing their gap round by round. Which means our Royal Family of Trivia this week goes to THE TWENTY-TWO'S!!!! Congrats Team!

Game Rank Team # Team Name Score Teams Beaten Team Beat Average
1 15291 The Twenty Two’s 40 2 1.000
2 14775 BLIP 34 1 0.500
3 Tater Tots 15 0 0.000

Dog Eat Dog

What a night!?! Every round was more exciting than the last and it was never clear on who was going to me the victor that night. In the first round we had the Flaming Hot Cheetos starting the game off with 7 points and a tie for second between Snopp Dogg Eat Dogg & BLIP. However in round two that quickly turned into a three way tie between the teams with 10 points a piece; and with Bills Angels following them with 6 points, LA Fatty Daddy with 5 points, and The Old Married couple entering in late but still scoring 4 points in the round. The tie continued for round 3 however this time it was for second place as Bills Angels doubled up soaring 12 points and ending the round with a total of 18. Round 4 got tricky as the tie shifted towards BLIP and Bills Angels for second with 17 pts, The Flaming Hot Cheetos with 19 pts; but the real story here is The Old Married Couple, figuring out who it was the quickest and coming back strong in the game with 16 pts. Round 5 we had The Flaming Hot Cheetos continuing there lead with 22 pts, BLIP with 21 pts, Bills Angels with 20 pts. Round 6 that all changed with Bills Angels leading with 27 points and a tie between the Old Married Couple and BLIP with 26 points. That didn't matter because its not how you start it's how you finish and thanks to smarts of the Flaming Hot Cheetos Cub he was able to pull the family up into the 1st place spot on the podium as our Royal Family King of Trivia of the Week.
