Dog Haus has garnered critical acclaim and national attention for its signature all beef Haus Dogs and hand crafted proprietary Haus Sausages, as well as their 100% genetically tested, humanely raised Black Angus beef using no hormones and no antibiotics – never ever. All dogs, sausages and burgers are served on grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls.  Open for lunch and dinner daily, guests can choose from signature, one-of-kind Haus creations or customize their own from a wide array of unique toppings.

Founded by partners Hagop Giragossian, Quasim Riaz and Andre Vener, three friends who share a passion for creativity, quality and commitment to community, the first Dog Haus opened in Pasadena, California in 2010.

Championship Week

 

With the Stanley Cup and the NBA Finals this week, competition was in the air, and Doghaus was no exception. We had all teams going at with a close point spread between them. The lovely ladies of Bills Angels started off strong in the first round with a 7 point lead but in rounds two and three Local People came back and took charge. Houston and Santa & Son where trying to figure out third and the rest of teams were trying to hold on. BLIP did a little more than that taking advantage of a failed Double or Nothing by Houston in round 3, and Santa & Son guessing wrong on "Guess Who?" the fellas at BLIP came back and took third. After 5 rounds Bills Angels is still at war with the local people 31 to 31, and Santa & Son making a comeback to tie it up 19 to 19 with BLIP. Than can you believe Round 6 Bills Angels and Local People are still going at it 40 to 40 while Santa & Son started losing there grasp going down 25 to 27. That is until Round 7 where they wished on one final miracle and came through to take third place with 29 points. The dust seemed to settle on the playing field for the crown to as the Local People stood victorious at the end of the night!

Where My Dogs At?

 

What a night at Doghouse, there only a few teams playing but the energy and vibes were so high we had so many people come up and ask about the game and start times. It was amazing how great the teams were, giving off an infectious good time to some potential trivia contestants for next week. We had a few returning faces this night with Dragon Society, and BLIP coming back to make their return to the trivia field. For a consecutive week we had the lovely ladies of Charlies Angels, and of course the masters themselves, The Skeptics. For another week in a row Dave and the Skeptics dominated the night so well that even when they did poorly in Round 7 they were up by so much it didn't matter. Meanwhile BLIP and Bills Angels were battling it out for second, until the Angels turned it up Round 6 Doubling Up, and when it came to second place; Mission Accomplished. Also shoutout to our youngest players who came into the 7th round, hence the name "We Came in the 7th Round" and showed that had they been here at the start of the came it may have presented trouble for the rest of the teams.

Slow & Steady

 

Starting the night with only three teams in the beginning, nobody expected the outcome of tonight. After the first round we had a few teams filter in and filter out but only one remained to be this weeks King of Trivia. In the beginning UTLA took the lead until round two where Bills Angels showed they were here on a mission. These ladies were a force to be reckoned with straight from the heavens above. That us until the underdogs Santa and Son who came in late to the game decided to double or nothing in round 6 moving them from 4th place ahead of the game to second. Bills Angels were still up by 1 with the score 41 to 40 and UTLA dropping to third place. Bills Angels appeared to have the bag secured until Santa & Son had one more gift in their bag to close out round 7, hop on their sleigh, and fly away as our new Kings of Trivia!
