QUIZ RECAP

Last night's trivia Round at Fat Bottom Brewing was a close one as usual!

Teams Rico, The Pivoteers, and Repeat the Question were all in the lead at one point, so the competition was flying high! The Pivoteers and Rico were all in for a work event, and decided to stay for trivia. They were especially competitive, as they all knew each other. But it was all in good fun and each team that played walked away with a prize. 

Repeat the Question came in third place for the evening and also won the swag round! Repeat the Question is a third time winning-team at Fat Bottom Brewing Company and I look forward to seeing them again!

The Pivoteers came in second place, and it was a close game -- if they hadn't lost on a double or nothing round, they may have come in first place. Double or nothing is quite the gamble and I have seen it help out a team or take a team down quickly! They still came out in second place and walked away happy. 

Team Rico came in first place and were quite the competitive bunch! They worked well together. Although the team was named after their friend Rico, he decided not to join in the game, and cheered them on from the sidelines.

I hope to see all the groups back next week at Fat Bottom for another fight of fun and revelry!

QUIZ RECAP

Last night was a rainy night in Nashville, but the participants at Fat Bottom Brewery didn't let it get them down!

The game was played by veteren trivia players, and multi-week winners "Repeat the Question" against seasoned trivia team (and also previous winners) "Blind 182".  The game was close as usual, with Blind 182 only ahead by 5 points for much of the game. Both teams played extremely well!!

The swag round was a round of Blackjack. Blind 182's team representative, Katie, won the round and won a Picker's Vodka hat and tee shirt, courtesy of Fat Bottom Brewery!

After a close game, Blind 182 came out with a nine-point lead after round 7. They won a $50 gift card to Fat Bottom Brewery. Close behind, the second place winners, Repeat the Question, won a $25 gift card to Fat Bottom. 

This week, Repeat the Question was joined by 4th-consecutive-week-in-a-row winners Matt and Wes! This is Matt and Wes's 4th week at second place! 

Both teams were joined by some furry friends and bubbly babies, as you can see in the photos!

I am looking forward to seeing both teams next week and hoping they bring more friends as well!

QUIZ RECAP

Tuesday's trivia event at Fat Bottom was close as usual. Four teams all did well and the lead was often a tie or as close as a one-point difference throughout the game.

This week, newcomers "The Ohioans" took third place. Two of the three teammates were from out of town, visiting their newly Nashville-resident daughter. They came in for dinner and ended up joining the game -- and came in third! 

The second place spot once again goes to .... "Henry's Hooligans"!! For the third week in a row, "Henry's Hooligans" have come in for a second placement, but many times were in first,  and so close to taking the lead overall. I bet one week soon, they will get first place! They were joined this week by 2 friends and a very young (and adorable) teammate. 

In first place, was first-time King Trivia players, "Three Blind Mice". Three Blind Mice were either in the lead or tied for the lead and came out ahead in the end by two points! I bet next week, they will do well again. They were joined by a very young (and adorable) teammate, and a furry friend as well! 

For the extra "swag" round this week, we played a game of card with "guess higher or lower" for the next card drawn. This was round was won by "Henry's Hooligans" and they got to go home with 2 tee shirts in addition to their gift card that they won from second place.

All-in-all, all remaining teams were winners and I hope to see them all back next week! 

I would like to throw in an honorable mention to "Team Leroy" who played quite well, but unfortunately had to leave a little early. By default, they couldn't win a prize, but if they had been able to stay, they may very well have been able to place 1st, 2nd or 3rd. I also hope to see the teams "Three Mustkateers" and "Running Late" back next week as well.
