Subbed in tonight and had a blast! Great group of players, amazing food and cold beer! I'll sub there anytime! Teams kept it pretty close for the first half of the game double downs not coming up but numbers still pretty high. However half sauced came in with a double down catapulting them to the front of the pack! They however didn't have the Holy Spirit on their side because quizzing for the lord came in at the last second winning the night by two points!!! Great job everyone!

Monday saw Gentle, Its My Third Time return for well... their third time., but did they win the night? Read on to find out.

Call tonight KFC in 2010 because there were a lot of double downs in round 2! All but one team doubled down and got 16 points for the round! The only team that didn't, Killer Tofu, came right back into contention in round 3 with a perfect round and a double down.

Just The Two Of Us correctly guessed Maya Ruldoph on the 10 point clue during round 4, giving them a nice lead going into the evening second half.

The drinking round required teams to guess which store carried what brand names. Casa Amore knew their Kirkland from their Up&Up and won their team free libations. But like Icarus, perhaps Casa Amore flew to close to the sun.

Heading into the final round Casa Amore had a shot at winning the whole night but a botched double-down won then only their pen point for the round, landing them in last place.

We had our biggest night yet for King Trivia as the dining room was almost completely full.

We had eight teams going for guts, glory, and gift cards.

Back from a strong first showing last week, Gentle Its My Second Time, whose name change reflected their returning status.

The Mooseknuckles started off the game with zero after a botched double or nothing in round one.

While several teams got all the picture rounds answers right, Gazpacho was the only one who doubled down giving them an early lead in the evening.

The drinking round this evening had teams identify a TV show based off of three characters from the show. Teams struggled with most as the Quizmaster may have made the round a tad too hard.

Gazpacho won the drinking round, maybe due in part to one of their team members being a cast member on one of the answers to the round.

Gazpacho maintained their lead to the end, winning with an impressive 69 points, 22 more than second-place winner Killer Tofu.

But surely teams will come back next week to get back at the winning team. After all, revenge is a dish best served cold... like Gazpacho.
