| In 2012, three dads, Akida Mashaka, John Speaks affectionately known to everyone simply as "Speaks", and Paddy Aubrey, met at their children’s preschool and had the idea to create a local neighborhood bar/restaurant concept that catered to local communities, with a fashionable yet relaxing ambiance, where you could go with your family, enjoy a refreshing weekend brunch, have parties, host events, meet up for lunch, catch the game, or simply hang out late night over drinks with friends.

The idea is to provide a friendly neighborhood pub with quality food and drinks that caters to everyone in the immediate and surrounding communities, hence the word "Public" in our name. Our motto "By the People, For the People" is indicative of our community pub concept.

We provide friendly service offering local farm-to-table seasonal contemporary American comfort cuisine with light and healthy options, paired with craft and local beers, quality wines, and specialty and classic cocktails. We offer weekend brunch, lunch, happy hour, dinner, and late night ambiance. |

The Toothsome Twosome took an early lead in the night, but The Other Team came within three points of them at the end of round three.

Both teams were able to guess Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi as the answer for the guess who round!

The drinking round had teams try and identify tv show theme songs. Both teams ended up getting 7 of the 10 right so we moved onto a tiebreaker which was won by Toothsome Twosome who were able to sink their teeth into some free drinks!

The final round had teams name the 10 largest lakes in the US by area. Everyone knew their great lakes but struggled after that.

At the night's end, The Toothsome Twosome took the top spot!

The night started off with both teams having a perfect round, though neither team used Double or Nothing so they both ended round one with 7 points.

The teams stayed within three points of each other through the "Guess Who" round where both teams correctly guessed John Leguizamo on the 6 point clue.

The drinking round had teams listen to 10 film scores and correctly guess the films they were from. The Toothsome Twosome just edged out Whatever Oprah Says for the win!

Both teams went 10 for 10 during the matching round but Oprah must have told them to double down because Whatever Oprah Says got 20 points the round, rocketing them to the lead, and even after a close round 7, the night's victory!

Round one went off with a bang as every team doubled down and got ALL THE ANSWERS RIGHT! Also since every team was registered, they all started off the night with 13 points!

During round four, Sun. Assembly Required got it right on the 10 point clue! The rest of the teams closely followed behind by getting it right on the 8 point clue!

Round five saw three teams have another perfect round earning all of them 20 points. At first, it seemed like hope was last for Killer Tofu who was now very far behind but luckily things were going to change.

Tonight's drinking round challenged teams to build the tallest cookie tower they could, using only their non-dominant hand. With a tower, 22 cookies tall, Pacific Couriers tasted sweet victory.

Round 6 ended up being the comeback round for Killer Tofu who had a perfect round, rocketing them back into contention for first place.

However, Pacific Courier's could not be stopped and won the night.
