QUIZ RECAP
Emergency! Calling all trivia titans! A fractional amount of rain fell over Los Angeles this Tuesday evening. As you all know, even a single droplet of moisture causes Angelenos to go into a full-blown panic…which is why it was so exciting to see our enthusiastic teams return to Idle Hour for more KING TRIVIA!
15 teams braved the foul weather to see out glory on the barrel-shaped battlefield. In the first half, we saw our teams locked in a dead heat all the way through Round 4, with Timothée Chalet December and Not Natalie Portmans holding strong.
For our Drinking Round, we challenged our teams to put together some complex origami. With the best score (3/14) and the fastest time, Quizmas Carolers took home the free shots.
Timothée took an early lead in the second half, but Not Natalie Portmans and Legally Distinct Branding were close behind. With only points to spare, we crossed the finish line with three champions.

IDLE HOUR RECAP
Trivia so nice they needed it twice. Idle Hour welcomed back teams for a second round of the most popular show in all of NoHo…KING TRIVIA!
Nine teams entered the barrel-shaped battlefield, but they weren’t prepared for the sheer amount of chaos a solid quiz show can provide.
Team Mango managed to hold a respectable lead for most of the first half, but People quickly saw an opportunity to double and leapt into the top spot. With that momentum, it almost became a destined event.
But People (the team, not a generic term for the crowd) was unwilling to accept this victory as fated. They launch into a series of risky doubles, quickly matching and then overtaking Mango as the dominant life form in this trivia-mordial soup.
In the final round, it came down to a knowledge of filmography…and only one team had apparently ever seen a movie.

QUIZ RECAP
On the waning eves of the Festival of Lights, there’s no better place to spin your dreidel than Idle Hour for KING TRIVIA. 24 teams arrived in our barrel-shaped battlefield for the quizzical art of war.
The first half of the show was dominated by the team of strutting peacocks known as NBC. With a large group and plenty of shared knowledge, they seemed unbeatable…but some teams weren’t so ready to give up on the big prize.
During our drinking round, we held our annual Idle Hour Dreidel throw down. Amazingly, we saw a return of the champions from Kingbeez, spinning masterfully to defend their crown.
In the second half of the game, Totem Pole arrived with a fury and some well-played doubles, extending a lead that would carry them to the finals. But Bernie Maximus and Poor Things refused to go out so quietly. In the end, it came down to mere points.
Our winners for the night were bottom of the totem pole, Bernie Maximus, and POOR THINGS - NOW IN THEATERS!
