With plenty of your favorite tequilas and spirits, along with refreshing specialty cocktails and beer, we have everything you need behind the bar for an unforgettable night out. And while our food menu may be small, it packs a flavorful punch, with tacos and other homemade taqueria staples to snack on. We also always have specials going on, and our two happy hours have great deals on drinks that are easy on the bank account. Nickelodeon Magazine, Please came out to a BLAZING start by scoring on two successful double or nothings in the first two rounds for a whopping 30 points. Our other 3 teams did a magnificent job closing the gap against such a strong team but it was a race for second place after that point. In other news, I got to repeat the phrase "boots with the fur" approximately 8 times on a microphone in a restaurant, so things are going really great for me.

A wonderful night at Jalapeno Pete's in Studio City, as Boozy Suzys racked up a sobering 58 points to take the top sport and a $25 gift certificate.

Multiple Scorgasms came in second with a respectable 37 points, which is especially impressive when you consider the handicap they gave themselves with a pair of unfortunate double-or-nothing attempts that illustrated the nothing part of that phrase.

And a tip-o-the-hat to Boom-Shakalaka for their 37-point 3rd place finish - just one point behind the Scorgasms.

It was a delightful night of laughs and new friends at Pete's this week. You can join the party next Wednesday at 7pm when we do it all again. Come join us!

We made several new friends during a raucous round of trivia this week at Jalapeno Pete's in Studio City. We're all familiar with the old saying that "two heads are better than one," right? Well Sydney (playing as Squids) put the lie to that old saw by flying solo and winning the night (barely) with a top score of 38.

The scores were close for all teams, with second place finisher White Pepper adding a little spice to the festivities with a robust effort and 30-point score.

Team Us was just one point behind to fill out our top three finishers, but it could have just as easily be your team right there in the thick of things, as word gets about this newest King Trivia venue. And word is getting out, so you'll want to hurry up and get over here before all the good tables are taken.
