The first game of the new decade, and we had teams....ready to cut throats and win? No, I don't think so. We had teams ready to have fun. Laugh, make fun of each other, complain about questions, and enjoy the great food and drink!
Well... ok, actually Knobheads came ready to win. And win they did!
Right out of the gate, Round 1, they got all 6 questions, used a Double, AND two extra points for being registered...for a total of 14 points!! That was double the next closest teams! Round 2- same thing- Doubled successfully!
Side note: How the hell do people know the actors from Cats? Did you watch a documentary or something? Please don't tell me you actually went to a theatre to SEE Cats-The Movie?
Round 4 was savage for half our teams, but from then on forward, it was Knobheads and Jetski as the leading teams... but Jetski just couldn't catch the 'heads (even after one Double).
Hats off to Knobheads for the win tonight! Oh, and a member of Knobheads won the 55" TV we'd been collecting raffle tickets for over the last number of weeks. So yeah...., they came ready to win!
I'm told there will be a NEW raffle item next week, so earn more entries by returning week after week. You too could win!

Knobheads were sitting, enjoying the fine food and brew at Last Chance Inn... when a shadow cast on the saloon door. The door swung open and ...an old rival filled the doorway.

...and with that (and other teams), the game was on!
After Round Two, four teams were only one point of each other. After Round Three, two teams were tied for 1st, and two teams tied for 3rd!
Jetski proved during the Hydration Round that they join 65% of 6 year olds that still believe in Santa.
After Round Six, our two rivals were still entangled, and tied for 1st! But only one team could win, and tonight, the nod goes to Hop On My Jetski! A big round of applause...and Jetski, watch your back! Knobheads isn't used to losing.

A tale of lost opportunity. Best way to sum tonight's game up.
Four teams battled, taunted, and laughed. They mainly laughed at me, but that's besides the point.
Round Three saw H's Hero's use a Double successfully, and that pushed them into the lead. Knobheads had two separate instances where they could have, but...was it being overly cautious? Lack of confidence in all the rounds given? Distracted by the great food? Maybe just sheer forgetfulness? Whatever it was, they didn't pull the trigger, and that left Knobheads still in H's wake.
As a consolation, we learned that Knobheads have a new love of the movie Elf.
Congrats to H's Hero's for taking the top spot.
Remember, just a couple more weeks left to earn a chance to win a 55" LCD TV! All you have to do is come out and play!
