QUIZ RECAP

It's a new era at Velvet Oak Tavern's Trivia Night. The fall of neo-Rome, the end of one trivial legacy, and the beginning of a new one have begun. 

The Glucose Gladiators were brought to their knees by new and returning teams but gave a valiant performance. The family-unit Fucknados finished in first place and we had our first tie-breaker showdown with returning team Comfortably Dumb and 6 Funzies. 

A special shoutout to One and Done and Comfortably Dumb for their last-round performance, showing off their GDP/economic prowess.

Fresh and hot competition for the Glucose Gladiator!

Last night's crowd brought in a lot of cutie competitors, especially the four-legged ones. The intellectual army of one, 125%, held onto their first-place ranking until the last round! Comfortably Dumb demonstrated comfortable competence and maintained a secure 3rd place finish. 

Berryhill Refugee gave our teams something to worry about, but was shaken up by the art-history final round (we see you MFAH members.) Wildcats, Diana's Gang, and Berryhill Refugee kept each other and all of us on our toes with a mere handful of point differences throughout the game. 

Will next week's teams be whetstones for the undefeated Glucose Gladiators or will we finally see the fall of neo-Rome?

"Glucose Gladiators say no to Cookies"

Stacy's Mom was One and Done by Threat Level Midnight, with a 4-point lead, but One and Done was outdone by the BBQs by yet another 4-point lead. Glucose Gladiators took first place. Stacy's Mom cleaned out the pantry with Cookies or BBQ(s).
