Sharks hockey was the perfect complement to Sunday Night Trivia action at LVL UP in beautiful Campbell, CA. Just as the teal titans trounced the competition on the ice, Peanut Butter and Space Jam absolutely crushed the field, with early doubles that put them far out in front and made other teams take big risks in an attempt to catch up. Smart play with the doubles is the name of the game for trivia glory!

A chill was in the air as fall settled into Campbell, CA, or maybe that was the icy cold hand of trivia doom coming for LVL UP! 7 teams brought their best last night to compete for nerd supremacy in a bar appropriately festooned with vidya games, and it was a practical photo finish. Fat Kyle and the Boys, the only team to successfully double that evening, beat out a late-round challenge by Untitled (now playing as Free Ballin') and hung onto gold by a single point. Skittles and Bits grabbed third, with the rest of the back trailing far behind.

In true Joey fashion I got a team to register with King Trivia! Hopefully "Untitled" will come back soon and defend their spectacular win.

Talk about a really cool location with great games and amazing food. I'm still pretty good at Mortal Kombat II and Street Fighter as well. Anyways, I digress...

We had three teams tonight playing for $40 in gift cards! We had a close race until Untitled hit a huge double or nothing in round 6 to seal the game. Congratulations to them! Big thanks to Vickie for the booklets and the other two teams Fat Kyle & The Boys and The Hosers... Eh?!
