Another fantastic evening at Ma'Kai--between the happy hour specials and the $5 Fireball shots, everyone was in the perfect mood for a great night of trivia with tons of laughs. I think we get some of the smartest, most fun-loving, players at Ma'Kai! It was another evening of everyone holding their breath as teams were neck-and-neck the whole game! In the end, Steeler & Bronco just managed to get the edge over Business Time to win by ONE POINT! I'm telling you guys, if you like edge-of-your-seat action, King Trivia at Ma'Kai on Tuesdays is the place to be!

Wow, Ma'Kai (by the sea) was hopping this week! A whole gaggle of new teams came in to mingle and play with some familiar faces. Happy hour specials were keeping teams. . . happy--and ready to face some fierce competition. For much of the game, scores were looking pretty close and often tied--thought we'd be headed for quite the tie-breaking showdown in the end. Then Business Time (baby) executed an inspired Double or Nothing play to leap out ahead and it was time for other teams to play catch-up and boy did they! Marisela, you were missed (hope to see you back again!). Sequined Dildos arrived at the finish line with my favorite score of 42--but it was Dan, playing for Eat Me, I'm a Danish who managed to leapfrog to the top of the heap in the end for the win. Come have fun with us next week!--you--will--not--regret--it!

Oh, yeah! Things have been heating up at Ma'Kai every week! This week saw a King Trivia night special on margarita shots in addition to the great specials they have already--it's a margarita, in a shot! Fantastic. All this helped get our teams in the mood for an excellent night of trivia. We had visitors from Ireland (may the road rise to meet ya'!) and Seattle--that's right the Emerald Isle and the Emerald City were both in the house. A new team of engineers came to shake things up, making the game super competitive. It was anyone's game the whole time--but in the end, 3 Wise pulled ahead facing off against Steeler/Bronco to take the win. Great night!--looking forward to seeing you all back again next week for another exciting match up!
