You guys were worth the drive! At 260 miles and having a phone with bad GPS, I made it just in the nick of time. Thanks, Tanner, for helping me carry my gear in. It wasn't heavy, but it needed more hands than I have.

With 7 teams in the beginning, only 6 made it to the finish. Delta Times told me ahead of time that they might not be able to stay, though. Maybe it was just the drive. Maybe it was all of you checking me out. For some reason, I made a couple dumb math errors, but you were on top of things and called me out. We got it handled, though. Thanks for keeping me honest.

At the end of the night, we all had so much fun that we went through the previous night's questions with answers being yelled out just for fun. Finally, Larry wanted to get home and we wrapped it all up. I had a great time with all of you. If you're ever down in Bakersfield, come play on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. You can do my job! At the end of the main game, No Talent Ass Clowns (Michael Bolton) took third place with 32. The battle was fierce at the top with Jerkoffz coming from behind with 52 to edge out Prestige World WideWide by a single point.

Super short synopsis: Drove 260 miles, got there just in time, met great people, drank great beer, did two sets of trivia, slept in my car, got a fresh crab for my son in SF before going home.

Mannheim Social Club was a riot Thursday night! Everyone at the place was so welcoming and friendly.The patrons of the bar came ready to take down Team Jerk Offs, the local winner. The teams kept the energy high and lots of jokes were thrown around about the questions. Questions were difficult but the effort was put into the game which made it fun!

I really enjoyed guest hosting the bar and the people brought great enthusiasm for the game.
