Mudhook is slang for an anchor. The owner. Bryan Kaeser, comes from a Navy family and it’s very near and dear to his heart. Family comes first for Mudhook. If you come by, you’re part of it. Mudhook’s goal is to make you part of the family, give back to our community and expand the horizons of food and beverage in Duncanville.
It was a mighty struggle here at Mudhooks tonight. We had Mudhook's regular players, aptly named the Mudhooks vs 3 other teams. The slippery elms were the victorious ones tonight although the tables turned many times during the game. The table just ended up turned to face the Slippery Elms!

Well, Quiz Master Lou dashed out unexpectedly to fill in down in Duncanville at the
Mudhook Bar & Kitchen. There, the friendly and welcoming teams
of the Mudhookers and DK2 Krewe engaged in a brain slugfest
over their weekly installment of King Trivia Pub Quiz!
So close to the holidays, last night's question set contained
three rounds dedicated just to Christmas trivia, (as is only
right!) plus a number of likewise themed querries sprinkled in
amongst the rest.
One of QM Lou's faves was a blast from the past. Anyone remember
Milton Bradley's Mystery Date? You can rekindle the innocence
on YouTube. The jingle is hilarious and perfectly parodies
songs like Frankie Avalon's Venus. The Handout was a standout
round as well, matching the line spoken to the Christmas movie
it came from. Fun stuff!
In the end, Mudhookers won first place and DK2 Krewe won second.
What better holiday cheer than having everybody be a winner?

Had a lot of fun with everyone tonight! And we had such a great turn out with quite a few new teams 🙂 New comers Penne-pals and Slippery Elms worked their way into 2nd and 3rd place respectively, and really did an awesome job, earning 50 and 46 points each. But! It wasn't enough to beat out Overthehill, who came out on top with 60 points tonight, so congrats to them! I hope everyone had a good time and I hope to see you all next week 🙂
