QUIZ RECAP

I have been to places far and wide studied a diverse genre of topics and never have i felt so DUMB as i have try to pronounce some of the names and places among the questions in tonight's TRIVIA GAME. It was a small yet involved crowd, so, we diced thru the 7 rounds like nobody business. Out of the for teams that played 1st and 2nd ran neck and neck the entire lapse of the competition. It came down to who knew when to double or nothing and who just '"KNEW". Again, i had a great time filling in as your QuizMaster, toodles ... Morgan!!!

Tonight at Oil Horse Brewery, we had a crowd full on thinkers, drinkers and some abnormally knowledgeable little stinkers. its not uncommon to find players scratching there heads as they ponder the over every question or a mumble from someone talking to themselves about possible answers with a slight, quirky facial disposition. I must say, however, tonight's trivia questions seemed to stump even the most seasoned media maniacs, even i was impressed with how many correct answers were given. Gathered from a broad spectrum of topics, this game was diverse and took more than simply wits for anyone to win. Every thinking cap in the house was maxed out by the end. As the points began to stack up and roll right in, the Jimi Henrdrix Experience took the lead early with their double or nothing devotion and sheer will to win. Close behind, for second place came Everything Ossamus. Barely trailing for third, the good ole "Im only here so i dont get fired" guys who undoubtedly came just for the free beers!!! This quiz night even had me a bit puzzled and i know pretty much everything about everything. I enjoyed the company of these strange characters that might have just been released from a looney bin. I look forward to coming back to host but until then...im Morgan....peace out peeps...your Quizmaster fill-in!!!

I wonder if the editorial staff saw my post from last week, but the scores from last night were MUCH more in line with our average scores. Even without any teams knowing all 10 feature length Muppet movies, or understanding with MAC cosmetics stands for, we had some pretty strong scores last night at the always awesome Oil Horse Brewing Company! After our 7 rounds of questions and answers, Drowning In Sweat Trash Pandas topped John Redcorn... You Are The Father!!, 65-63 to finish in 1st place and Storm Oil Horse! finished in 3rd place. DISTP started out strong and held off JRYTF's repeated efforts to take the lead late in the match to overtake them. I will be out next week, so we will have a guest quizmaster hold down the fort until I return. Please come out and enjoy the fun and I will see you next week.
