About Ounces Taproom & Beer Garden

We’re Ounces — a specialty taproom and beer garden serving the West Seattle community with a rotating lineup of Washington only beer, ciders & wine on 30 taps—all in a comfortable, yet trendy indoor / outdoor space open to all ages (and pets).

Located just off the West Seattle Bridge in the Delridge neighborhood, we’re bringing a taste of the Washington brewery scene to West Seattle.

Our passion is beer—and local beer. We’ve trekked across Seattle's breweries to discover the best our city (and beyond) has to offer.  The result:  Ounces, a small taproom with big outdoor space — and an even bigger passion for bringing the best local craft beers to our hood.

Trivia and dogs, what more could you ask for? This week at Ounces we got to have a lot of fun with both! It was a great night with lots of jokes and a Guess Who round that no one was fooled by because as lovers of science, we know when someone's talking about Bill Nye! Tonight, kindred spirits from the Quizmaster's homeland SeaSac represented it well by taking first place! The Gulls soared into second place, coming just short in the endgame of tieing things up! And last, but not least, This is Grey took home a $10 gift card, being only a few points away from second! That's it for this week, please come join us Tuesdays at 7 here at Ounces for King Trivia!

Another fantastic night of trivia here at Ounces! Tonight was high tension in the closest game we've had here! Round one started off strong with two immediate double-or-nothing successes. You knew the pressure was on going into round two! Every team was scoring neck and neck the whole game, there was never a clear outcome! It was very clear in the end though that a great trivia battle had been played out once Cloud Fish came in with the few points in the last round needed to tip them over into first place territory by a single point! Though the trivia kingdom was in a tizzy, Trounces gracefully ended their winning streak and vowed to return stronger than before! And coming in at third place was This is Grey who tied with Cloud Fish in the final round, but needed just one more point to get Trounces into the tie-breaker! Everyone did a fantastic job and I hope to see them all and you next Tuesday @7

Exciting night as usual here at Ounces with King Trivia! The beer was cold and the competition was hot. Everyone was in great form tonight and the scores stayed close, but the rivalries really boiled over after the Round 5 three-team double-or-nothing success! There was a lot of tension going into Round 6 as people frantically scrawled on the handouts. In the end, Deadly Unicorns secured their first place standing, nearly losing it at the very last second. 42 to 7 is Closer Than It Sounds stayed solid to the very end and got their second place prize, and This is Grey after being tied with the Unicorns, struck out with their Double-or-Nothing coup-de-grace, but still got third place! Thank you players, spectators, and recap lovers and join us next Tuesday at 7 for more trivia fun!
