Biden Our Time was able to catch up and tie it in round 3, take a slight lead in round 4...and held on for the win! Grumpy Griffins started strong, but wasn't able to hold on! The Money Beets surged in round 5, but it wasn't enough to take the lead. A bad desperation double in the final round left them with 3rd place. Aero2019 won the free dessert round! 🙂

I have a team of High School students, that love to trip me up with my own words. They rearrange my usual banter into their team name every week. They are usually content in knowing they have played a fine game against some stiff competition. Tonight, was different though. Doubling rounds 2 & 3, they realized they were very much in contention! Slipping some in rounds 5 & 6, they excelled in the final round to take 3rd place by 1 point over the team that had came in 1st place the last 2 weeks! Congratulations Points Doubled & With 32 10 Got Th Incorrect Place! (see second picture)
Glad It's Spring So I Can Wet My Plants went back to their winning ways and Del Boca Vista Phase 2, once again took 2nd place!
Zoltan was also in contention all night, but a disastrous round 6 and desperation double (incorrect) on round 7 left them behind for the night. Still, they did win the free dessert, so there's that! 🙂
