Pour is focused on bringing the community together.  We are creating an environment that showcases the quality craftsmanship of beers available to the world today, with an emphasis on Colorado craft beer.  Our focus is providing the community an exceptional environment to socialize, relax and interact with one another while experiencing all that properly served beer has to offer… one “Pour” at a time.

 

What we are:

 

Pour is a craft beer tap house with 30 draft lines focusing on the best beer we can source.  We have a constantly varying beer selection from the best breweries available.  Our taps have a wide variety of high-end craft beer that will appease the newest beer connoisseur to the oldest and most experienced beer snob.  We offer very basic snacks, but encourage you to bring whatever food you would like to enjoy while you partake in our beer selection.  We can make beer and food pairing suggestions to enhance your experience and will be conducting pairing events and education seminars routinely.  Finally, we are working with quality food trucks to bring some great food to our neighborhood while enhancing business opportunities for some very motivated individuals.  We look forward to seeing you at Pour and will gladly host any type of social gatherings you can dream up.

Well, looks like I'm going to be a regular QM here at Pour Tap House, and I'm glad to quiz such a fine group of players!

Congrats to Names R4 Tombstones on their clutch performance and stunning victory. Kudos as well to perennial also-rans Etcetera Etcetera for 2nd place. We had a tight battle for our special 3rd prize and Doormat lived up to their name at the bottom of the standings. Last Place squeezed out a narrow victory over First in Gym Class to claim the coveted "next to last" prize!

ROUND OF THE NIGHT: Congratulations go out to Etcetera Etceta for having the round of the night, posting 20 points in the Disney Dads round! Other teams were 10/10, but only you were able to achieve PERFECTION!

Well this was an eventful night of trivia. The Regular host missed the show because he was going to be an hour late but luckily Don filled in last minute and blew everyone out of the water with his amazing hosting skills. We even got to see an audition for a new QM Taylor who did wonderful.

as for the trivia? I bet Dreamliners is kicking themselves for not registering and getting those two bonus points! they would have taken first place, but I guess second isn't so bad.

Tonight Quizmaster Gil had the privilege of filling in at the last minute at Pour Tap House, and it was a treat: lovely venue, nice staff, and a house full of fun players. Multiple Scoregasms and Names Are For Tombstones each jumped out front early with a successful double-or-nothing, but Sierra Nevada and first-timers Stan The T-Rex leapfrogged them with doubles in Round 2 for 16 points apiece. It was essentially a 2-team race for then on, with Sierra Nevada and Names Are For Tombstones leading the pack yet never separated by more than 3 points the rest of the way. Stan The T-Rex were near the top until taking a -1 in the Guess Who round but held on to finish 3rd. Likewise Principal's Pets started well but a -1 dropped them out of contention. Hungry 4 Tacos were steady if unspectacular and finished with a respectable 31 points, while E = MC Hammer struggled with the temptation to try for the double (taking a zero 3 times) but did score 10 of a possible 10 in the handout round. It's worth noting that 4 teams converted doubles in that round 6: Sierra Nevada, Names Are For Tombstones, Stan The T-Rex and Principal's Pets each netted 20 points. Names Are For Tombstones entered the final round trailing by 3 and could only make up 1 point to finish 2nd, with Sierra Nevada holding on to claim the honors for tonight. My thanks to all the players who made my first time in an unfamiliar setting so enjoyable. Hope to see you again!
