What an amazing end to a year of questions!

As always, we celebrated the night with seven rounds. Redbeard Brewing fell in love with this set as each additional question was discovered.

It’s hard to disagree with mentions of Leonardo da Vinci, Uncle Phil, LeVar Burton, Christopher Walken, and Snoop Dogg. Those are just bits of the first four rounds.

The room grew tense with how close scores were during round five. Teams moaned in pain as “Dawn Of The Dead” was revealed instead of “Day Of The Dead”. It was a sink or swim situation for teams to understand the find connection round. The answers all related to names of Seas.

Round number 7 demanded the hearts of all the players. Apparently soap operas are huge and these peeps love them.

Great job to the Jukebox Heroes for first place!

The Redbeard Irregulars were just a point shy, landing them second place.

The Turd Fergusons Pulled off a tie breaker win, guessing ninety-six inches! Only off by less than a half inch. Third place is still good in my book.

QUIZ RECAP

 Twas a few nights before Christmas, when all through the taproom

people were drinking brews… I’m not a poet.

Thanks for coming out tonight! Trivia was a winter-less wonderland. It was a fairly nice night around Staunton.

We had teams draw Trees for a special prize. We couldn’t decide between the top two so we picked both! Congrats to Team Grumpy Groundhogs and The Thirsty Turtles for winning the contest.

Trivia was fairly close at the start until The Thirsty Turtles started pulling ahead. I thought Jingle All The Way would catch up but they were a few points short.

We had an absolutely PHENOMENAL night of trivia at Redbeard!

It was the first week of the new "Drinking Round"!

As you can see, it was an Ugly Sweater Contest. To be completely honest, not one ugly sweater was seen. Everyones beauty shined through these questionable fashion choices.

After a few confusing moments, thanks to a host that shall not be named, we knew the difference between tinsel and tassels. Lets just say the venue was in an uproar when the Golden Oldies corrected me by saying "I think you mean pasties.". Needless to say my mistake was only outdone by the sweaters themselves. I made my choice but check out the pictures so you can decide!

Back to trivia, teams bounced around the standings throughout the night. The double or nothing's caused such a ruckus. It was almost as if the The Thirsty Turtles, Lego My Pale Ale, and Big Booty Britches were in a waltz, each taking lead over the other every round.

In the front it was more of a rave. These teams were full of laughter and joy but lacking in the strobe light department. I thought for sure The Redbeard Irregulars would take first place but thanks to a well timed double or nothing, The Golden Oldies took first place!

A special welcome back to The Mensa Line! It is always amazing having you at my shows.
