Thirteen teams entered the trivia arena, but only one could emerge victorious. With brains sharpened, drinks flowing, and enough bad puns to make a dad blush, the trivia war began.
Round One: The Con-Quiz-tadors took an early lead, proving their General Knowledge was better than everyone else’s… which is like being the smartest person at a seminar for cardboard boxes, but hey, points are points!
Round Two: The B Sharps hit the high note with their encyclopedic knowledge of actors who played U.S. Presidents. Who knew their secret weapon was binge-watching political dramas and cheesy biopics?
Round Three: Still rolling like a hot potato, The B Sharps showed their expertise on Irish food. Turns out all that corned beef, cabbage, and questionable Guinness consumption paid off.
Round Four: The mystery person round had everyone sweating bullets, but The B Sharps cracked the code by guessing Mrs. Puff. If you didn’t see it coming, then clearly you haven’t spent enough time under the sea.
Round Five: In a stunning twist, KABAM! exploded onto the leaderboard by dominating the Find the Connection round about math terms. Their strategy? Counting on their fingers and whispering, “Please be multiple choice.”
Drinking Round: The Trivia Divas stole the show in the drinking game playing the card game Hi/Lo, proving that while they might not have all the answers, they definitely have all the shots. Someone hand them a trophy or at least some Gatorade.
Round Six: Back from their victory lap, KABAM! matched breeds to animals like a kid with a sticker book and too much caffeine. Their knowledge of random critters was downright unsettling.
Round Seven: Finally, KABAM! claimed the night with their dream knowledge. Whether it’s Freud, lucid dreaming, or just knowing the meaning of that nightmare where you show up to trivia naked, they had it all covered.
So, after seven rounds, one drinking game, and approximately 1,452 jokes about team names, KABAM! stood triumphant. As for the rest of the teams, they went home with memories, hangovers, and the knowledge that Mrs. Puff is, in fact, a certified legend.
Have a great St. Patty's Day, everyone...and see you next week!

Trivia Night Recap: The Battle of Wits (and Whiskey!)
It was a night of brain-busting battles, questionable guesses, and a drinking round that would’ve made Socrates proud. Four mighty teams entered the intellectual arena: KABAM!, My Name is Jeff, British Invasion, and the always-thirsty Irish I Were Drunk. Let’s break down the madness:
Round One – General Knowledge
Things started off with a bang—literally. KABAM! took an early lead, but in a shocking twist, British Invasion and Irish I Were Drunk stormed the leaderboard too, forming an unholy trivia trinity. Clearly, knowing which U.S. state produces the most blueberries is a shared passion.
Round Two – TV Fictional Food Brands
My Name is Jeff devoured this one like a Krusty Burger on cheat day. The team had an encyclopedic knowledge of fake snacks, from Duff Beer to Cheesy Poofs. A true couch potato flex.
Round Three – Breakdancing and Rivers
A category combo no one saw coming—except for KABAM!, who moonwalked across the dance floor and waded through trivia like pros. Who knew knowing both the Windmill move and the length of the Mississippi could be so useful?
Round Four – Mystery Person: Scott Joplin
Turns out, ragtime knowledge is My Name is Jeff’s jam! While others hesitated, they confidently dropped “Scott Joplin” like it was hot. Somewhere, Joplin’s ghost nodded in approval.
Round Five – Find the Connection: Crazy
KABAM! went full lunatic mode, piecing together the wildest links between songs, movies, and pop culture moments featuring the word “crazy.” The others? Just plain confused.
Drinking Round – Umbrellas
A round designed for Irish I Were Drunk to shine? Think again! KABAM! weathered the storm with some truly intoxicating umbrella knowledge. Rihanna would be proud.
Round Six – School Fight Songs
This one had everyone reliving their high school trauma, but KABAM! emerged victorious once again, correctly matching fight songs to their schools like they’d been marching in the band their whole lives.
Round Seven – Jeopardy!
With KABAM! holding the lead, the final round was all about Alex Trebek, Ken Jennings, and the carousel of guest hosts & winners we try to forget. Turns out, KABAM! really knew their Jeopardy! history—securing the W and ultimate trivia glory!
Final Thoughts:
A legendary night filled with knowledge, nonsense, and probably one too many celebratory drinks. KABAM! may have taken home the trophy, but everyone left a little wiser—and a little tipsier. 🍻
See you all next week!

Trivia Night Recap: The Battle of the Brainiacs (and Boozers)
Round One: It was a four-way tie right out of the gate as There’s No Crying in Trivia, KABAM!, The B-Sharps, and Hey Siri all flexed their general knowledge muscles. Turns out, knowing the capital of Mongolia and the chemical symbol for gold really sets you apart at parties.
Round Two: There’s No Crying in Trivia took sole possession of the lead, proving they know more about TV cousins than anyone should reasonably admit. Who knew the best way to dominate trivia night was a PhD in “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” family tree?
Round Three: There’s No Crying in Trivia continued their sugar rush of success, this time conquering the sweet world of desserts and… beach activities? Nothing like pairing crème brûlée with a well-executed game of frisbee.
Round Four: Enter The B-Sharps, who swooped in like rockstars to steal the lead after correctly identifying Debbie Harry as the mystery person. Somewhere, Blondie is singing “One Way or Another,” and it’s about their inevitable victory.
Round Five: The B-Sharps stayed on top by crushing a “Find the Connection” round all about city nicknames. Who knew The Big Apple and The Windy City would be key to trivia domination? Meanwhile, Hey Siri was last seen yelling “Hey Siri, what’s the nickname for Cleveland?” into their phones.
Drinking Round: There’s No Crying in Trivia won the mid-game drink-fest by somehow remembering the name of the first web browser. Because nothing says “let’s take a shot” like shouting “MOSAIC!” at the top of your lungs.
Round Six: The B-Sharps kept the streak alive with an impressive showing in the “Match the Original Name to the Company” round. No one knows how they instantly linked “BackRub” to Google, but we suspect a time machine or dark magic.
Round Seven: The B-Sharps sealed their victory in the final round by proving they know way too much about Twilight characters and British royalty. Was Prince Harry actually Team Edward? We may never know.
At the end of the night, The B-Sharps were the ultimate trivia champions, There’s No Crying in Trivia won the drinking round, and Hey Siri is still trying to get their phones to answer questions for them. Until next time, folks—study up, drink responsibly, and never underestimate the power of useless knowledge!
See you all next week!
