Fall is finally in the air in the San Fernando Valley! In celebration of the cooler temps, our phenomenal teams at last Thursday's King Trivia at Shadow Grove Brewing came out in droves and brought their A-game over seven rounds of questions. Teams tested their knowledge of celebrity yearbook photos, NFL teams, and Queen Latifah for a chance to win beer coupons worth $5 off a tasty brew at Shadow Grove! With 52 points, Burger Of The Day came in third place and won two coupons for their efforts, while I Don't Know Shit took the second place spot with a 3-point lead. But it was Team IDK which ran away with a stunning 82 points, successfully hitting the Double Or Nothing box FOUR times to secure their top spot and the top prize of the night: 5 beer coupons for a total of $25 off brews at Shadow Grove Brewing! Teams brought a rivaling heat that put the triple-digit outdoor temperature to shame, skillfully navigating questions about identifying real and fictional Kellys, Mark Cuban's personal and professional life, musical duos, and Bond villians. So Demure approached their answers so mindfully that they secured a third place win, scoring two beer coupons worth $5 any beer at Shadow Grove Brewing. The Kings of Beer became the kings of second place with an impressive final round turnout correctly identifying top beer brands in the US, scoring 30 points and winning 3 coupons that helped discount their bar tab! But Burger of The Day emerged victorious with a first-place victory at a whopping 41 points, nabbing the top prize of 5 beer coupons! Congratulations to all our teams and players!
